In celebration of Earth Day 2025, Sippi proudly reaffirms its commitment to marine conservation through our partnership with the Ocean Conservation Trust. This collaboration underscores our dedication to protecting and restoring vital marine ecosystems, particularly seagrass meadows, which are among the most effective natural carbon sinks on the planet.​ 

March marked Seagrass Awareness Month, highlighting the crucial role these underwater habitats play in supporting biodiversity, enhancing coastal resilience, and combating climate change. However, the leisure marine industry can significantly impact seagrass, making awareness and conservation efforts more important than ever.​ 

At Sippi, we are committed to promoting sustainable solutions across the marine sector. Through our partnership with the Ocean Conservation Trust, we support initiatives such as the Blue Meadows programme, which focuses on seagrass restoration and protection. This includes efforts to map sensitive seagrass habitats and implement advanced mooring systems that minimise disruption to these areas. 

This Earth Day, we are also supporting The Big Give campaign in aid of the Ocean Conservation Trust, aiming to raise funds to protect our oceans and restore vital seagrass habitats. All donations made during this campaign will be matched, doubling the impact of each contribution.​
